Genuine 4mm SCHOTT ROBAX® heat-resistant curved glass-ceramic, manufactured to the correct model-specific profile for the Charnwood Cove 1, Cove 2 and Cove 3 stove ranges.
Select your exact Charnwood Cove model from the dropdown menu to receive one curved replacement glass panel and one new self-adhesive high-temperature glass seal.
Do not order by appearance alone. Cove 1, Cove 2 and Cove 3 use different dimensions and different curved profiles. The Cove 2 panel also has a distinctive shaped top outline, so please compare the model, dimensions and panel shape before ordering.
Stove Spare Glass Ltd is an official stockist of genuine SCHOTT ROBAX® fire-viewing glass-ceramic. Every panel is made from original German-engineered SCHOTT ROBAX® material developed specifically for high-temperature stove and fireplace applications.
| Model | Known Compatibility | Glass Size | Charnwood Glass Reference |

Charnwood references are supplied to help identify the correct panel. Please check the stove model, serial-prefix information, dimensions and panel outline before ordering.
Each Cove model uses a concave panel that follows the curve of its door. The curve and outline are model-specific, so a flat panel or a curved panel from another Cove model will not sit correctly in the frame.
Do not attempt to flatten, flex or force the glass during installation. The replacement should sit naturally in the door recess when the correct model has been selected.
The glass seal forms the protective cushion between the glass-ceramic panel and the metal stove door. It supports the curved panel evenly, distributes pressure from the retainers and prevents direct glass-to-metal contact as the stove heats and cools.
The existing seal is often compressed, hardened or damaged when the old glass is removed. Reusing a worn seal can leave the replacement panel unevenly supported, allow it to rattle and create concentrated pressure points.
A new 8mm × 3mm self-adhesive high-temperature glass seal is therefore supplied with every panel.
Please note: this is the thin flat seal used when fitting the stove glass. It is not the larger round rope fitted around the outer edge of the stove door.
Allow the stove to cool completely before removing the damaged panel. Carefully remove the retainers, old glass and old seal, then clean all broken fragments and adhesive residue from the glass seating area.
Apply the new seal evenly without stretching it. Keep the replacement glass in the correct curved orientation and allow it to sit naturally in the door frame.
Refit the retainers gradually and evenly. Do not overtighten the clips or screws. They should prevent movement without rigidly clamping the panel or forcing it against the curve of the door.
This product is compatible replacement glass supplied by Stove Spare Glass Ltd. It is not an original Charnwood-branded spare part. Charnwood model names and part references are used only to identify compatibility.
