Terms & Conditions

Clear information from our workshop about ordering stove glass and spare parts.

1. Who we are

Stove Spare Glass is operated by STOVESPAREGLASS LTD, registered in Northern Ireland under company number NI665860. Our registered office is Unit 4 Kiltonga Industrial Estate, Belfast Road, Newtownards, Northern Ireland, BT23 4TJ. Our VAT registration number is GB 522 5275 09.

Contact our workshop team at sales@stovespareglass.com or through our contact page.

2. Your order

These terms apply to consumer purchases from our website. Please check your items, measurements, delivery address and order total before paying. An automated order acknowledgement confirms receipt; we accept your order when we confirm dispatch. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will tell you and refund any payment for the affected goods. We will ask before substituting a product.

3. Choosing the right glass and parts

Check the model, version, dimensions, shape and thickness against the product information. Similar stove names can use different parts. If you are unsure, contact our workshop team before ordering with the model, measurements and a photograph of the cold stove door.

For custom glass, the measurements you supply must be the finished glass dimensions you require, in millimetres. Follow the calculator's instructions carefully. Our responsibility to supply goods as described and meet your statutory rights remains unchanged.

4. Custom-cut glass

Glass made to your individual measurements or specifications is custom-made and is not eligible for the usual change-of-mind cancellation or return right. This includes ordering an incorrect size where we have accurately supplied the measurements you gave us.

If you spot a mistake, contact our workshop immediately. We will check whether we can change or stop the order before cutting starts, but cannot promise this will be possible.

This does not affect your rights if the glass is faulty, damaged, not as described or not supplied to the agreed specification. Our workshop team will always listen and work with you to find a practical way forward. Any goodwill help for a correctly supplied custom order is considered individually and does not replace your legal rights.

This exception applies to genuinely bespoke goods. A standard catalogue item does not automatically become non-returnable simply because we prepare or cut it after an order is placed.

5. Prices and payment

The currency, applicable VAT, delivery charges and total payable are shown before you complete checkout. We will contact you if we identify a pricing error that affects your order and explain your options before proceeding. We will not substitute a higher price without your agreement.

6. Delivery

Available delivery options, charges and estimated times are shown when you order. Unless another time is agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days. If there is a delay, contact our workshop team so we can help; your legal cancellation and refund rights remain unaffected.

Goods remain our responsibility until received by you or someone you nominate, subject to the legal exception where you independently appoint a carrier we did not offer. Please check your delivery and tell us about damage as soon as reasonably possible. Signing for a parcel, including signing it unchecked, does not remove your statutory rights.

7. Returns of standard goods

For eligible non-bespoke goods bought online, you can cancel without giving a reason by notifying us within 14 days after receipt. You then have 14 days to send the goods back. Email our workshop team with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. Please contact us for return arrangements.

You pay the direct return cost for a change-of-mind return where this was disclosed before purchase. We refund the goods and the basic outbound delivery charge where required, but not the extra cost of an upgraded delivery service. Refunds use the original payment method unless otherwise agreed, without a refund fee.

We refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier. We may deduct for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods' nature, characteristics and functioning, where permitted by law. There is no automatic restocking fee for exercising your statutory cancellation right.

8. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

Contact our workshop with your order number and details of the problem. Photographs may help us resolve it quickly. Do not fit or use damaged glass. We will provide the repair, replacement or refund to which you are entitled and meet reasonable return costs where legally required. A manufacturer's warranty is additional to your rights against us, not a replacement for them.

9. Responsibility and your rights

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded. We remain responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill.

Northern Ireland law governs these terms, without removing mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. You retain any right to bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.

10. Privacy and questions

Our privacy and cookie information explains how we handle personal data and website cookies. If anything about an order is unclear, please ask our workshop team. The version of these terms agreed when you place an order applies to that order.
