Stove Spare Glass Ltd is an official stockist of genuine SCHOTT ROBAX® fire-viewing glass-ceramic. Every panel is cut from original German-engineered material designed for high-temperature stove and fireplace applications.
Every selected panel or strip set is supplied with an 8mm × 3mm self-adhesive high-temperature glass seal. The supplied seal length is calculated from the complete perimeter of the selected glass, or from the combined perimeter where a full strip set is supplied.

The glass seal cushions the glass-ceramic against the metal stove door, prevents direct metal-to-glass contact, distributes pressure from the retainers and helps avoid concentrated stress points as the stove heats and cools.
The existing seal is often compressed, hardened or damaged when the old glass is removed. A fresh seal helps the replacement glass sit evenly and securely.
Remove the old glass and seal carefully, then clean the glass recess thoroughly. Apply the supplied seal evenly around each glass panel so it is continuously cushioned. Refit the retainers gradually and evenly. Do not overtighten the clips or screws.
