Stove Spare Glass Ltd is an official stockist of genuine SCHOTT ROBAX® fire-viewing glass-ceramic. Every panel is precision cut from original German-engineered SCHOTT ROBAX® material designed specifically for high-temperature stove and fireplace applications.
Every replacement panel is also supplied with a new 25mm self-adhesive fold-over high-temperature glass seal.

The supplied 25mm self-adhesive seal must be fitted around the complete outer edge of the glass. Centre the tape over the raw 4mm glass edge, then fold it evenly onto both the front and rear faces of the panel.
It is important that the seal cushions both sides of the glass. The Arc and Skye door design holds the glass between a front retaining frame and the rear door frame. The seal prevents direct metal-to-glass contact on both sides and helps distribute the clamping pressure evenly.
Continue the seal around the full perimeter of the glass, keeping an even amount on each face. Cut the ends neatly where they meet and do not overlap the joint.
Refit the front frame gradually and tighten the fixings evenly. Do not overtighten the screws. The frame should hold the glass securely without rigidly clamping it.
Remove the old glass and seal carefully, then clean the glass recess thoroughly.
Fit the supplied seal around the complete perimeter, centred over the raw 4mm glass edge and folded evenly onto both faces so the glass-ceramic does not sit directly against either metal frame.
Refit the glass retainers gradually and evenly. Do not overtighten the clips or screws. They should hold the pane securely without rigidly clamping it, as excessive or uneven pressure may cause the glass to fracture.
One glass panel is supplied.
This product is made from genuine SCHOTT ROBAX® glass-ceramic and is precision cut by Stove Spare Glass Ltd as a compatible replacement for the stated Charnwood models. It is not an original Charnwood-branded spare part.
