A seventeen-piece cast iron grate set for the Hunter Herald 8 and Herald 8 Boiler. The pack provides nine lower bars and eight upper bars to rebuild the riddling grate beneath the fuel bed.
| Compatible models | Hunter Herald 8 and Herald 8 Boiler |
| Total quantity | 17 grate bars |
| Lower bars | 9 × HHR08029, approximately 268 mm; big end with larger hook, sitting lower on the shaker bar |
| Upper bars | 8 × HHR08030, approximately 253 mm; small end with smaller hook, sitting higher on the shaker bar |
| Material | Cast iron |
| Approximate total weight | 20 kg |
| Supply | Non-original compatible replacement set |
| Version restriction | The bar design changed in early 2007. Mk1 stoves retaining the original style require a full new set initially; the old and new designs cannot be mixed |
Confirm whether the stove still uses the original pre-2007 Mk1 bars before ordering. The complete matched set is needed for the first change to the newer pattern. Worn or mismatched bars can stick during riddling, so check both bar types and the Herald 8 model designation when planning the repair.
