An easy-to-apply 8mm × 3mm self-adhesive glass seal is supplied with the panel. Peel away the backing and apply the seal around the complete perimeter of the glass, pressing it firmly into place.
Trim the seal neatly to fit with scissors. Bring the two ends together in a neat butt joint and do not overlap them.
Please compare the selected dimensions with your existing stove glass before ordering. Stove manufacturers may use different glass sizes across similar models, production years or door versions.
If you are unsure which replacement glass you require, contact us with your stove make, model and measurements and we will help you select the correct panel.
Always allow the stove to cool completely before replacing the glass. Remove the old glass and seal, clean the supporting surfaces and fit the supplied seal around the new panel.
The retaining clips should hold the glass securely but must not be overtightened. Ceramic stove glass needs a small amount of clearance to expand and contract safely during normal heating and cooling.
